Hellsing Ultimate is a remake of the original Hellsing TV anime series. Many of the original Japanese voice actors are brought back from the first anime. The Hellsing OVA is a more genuine adaptation of the Hellsing manga, but there are still some minor differences. One significant difference between the anime and the OVA is that Hellsing Ultimate brings back the (dark) humor which is present in the manga, but was completely left out of the TV series.
