ONE-LINER: Rich girls fall for pathetic poor guy.
STORY: Teppei Arima is a second-year high school student who lost both of his parents in a traffic accident on their way home from a family trip. His grandfather, Isshin Arima, happens to wield the puppet strings in Japan’s vast economy and demands that Teppei becomes his successor as the head of the Arima Group. To prepare for his debut into high society, Teppei enrolls in an elite academy for the scions of the rich and powerful. I find Princess Lover to Be Shameless for a harem genre anime. The male character is sticking out like a sore thumb in the world of the rich and powerful. and the female characters are either using him or doesn’t like him at all. The female characters are a seductive princess, a beautiful maid who works for him as his maid, the daughter of a former finance combine company employee who hates him for being his grandfather’s heir, and a noble’s oldest daughter who won’t acknowledge him as her fiancé. And who would blame her, the male character is just a kendo practiced swordsman who’s completely foreign to the aristocratic customs. In the obvious ending of every normal harem genre anime, the male character can’t decide at all instead of choosing the girl he likes the most. If this goes on; then so help me that considered this anime is put to a full stop unless someone comes up with something original in this anime.

I hate to say I told you so about this harem anime but I’ll say it again, the male character didn’t choose which girl he like the most. So I win hands down and the anime also ends in episode 12.
