Anime Synopsis:

Air Gear is a fighting and sports based shonen anime with a good mix of comedy. The protaganist is a fifteen year old boy named Minami Itsuki, his friends call him “Ikki”. The story of Air Gear follows Ikki’s discovery and fascination with the urban sport of Air Trek (abbreviated AT). AT are highly advanced forms of inline roller blades. They are equipped with powerful electric motors which allow an Air Trek user to achieve incredible speeds and jump to tremendous heights. Air Trek users call themselves Storm Riders, and often form teams to battle each other for territory, prestige and Air Trek parts. The creator of Air Gear is Oh! Great, the same mangaka behind Tenjho Tenge.
