Tokyo Tribes anime synopsis / summary: Tokyo Tribes is about the rivalries between urban gangs in the streets of a fictional Tokyo, Japan. Kai is a member of the Saru gang, a ragtag band of guys who really just want to hand out and a have a good time. Every gang in the city maintains control of its own turf, and usually the balance of power is stable with only minor conflicts. However , things become personal when the leader of Saru is viciously attacked by Mera, the leader of Bukuro Wu-ronz gang and an old friend of Kai’s. Old rivalries are reignited and an all-out war is about to explode onto the streets of Tokyo.
