Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora anime synopsis / summary Kuu Shiratori is a high school girl who attends a school in the city of Academia with her best friend Kozue. Although Kuu is very shy and lacks confidence in herself, Kozue is always there to push her forward and cheer her on. Since her childhood, Kuu has been having a reoccurring dream about a prince who appears to her in a sea of flowers and asks her to come with him. Because of these dreams, Kuu has been waiting for such a prince to appear to her even as she’s grown older. As fate would have it, when a new transfer student arrives in her class, Kuu immediately recognizes him as the prince in her dreams. His name is Kyoshiro Ayanokoji and he becomes very popular amongst the girls with his handsomeness and charms. During an incident at lunch Kyoshiro repeated the same lines the prince said in Kuu’s dreams to her. Kuu decides to confirm her own feelings after school but finds him kissing another girl. It was then that a strange catgirl appears and suddenly attacks Kuu. She has the ability to materialize her mecha at will and her violent attacks tear parts of he school building apart. The catgirl’s rampage is stopped by none other than the girl who had previously been kissing Kyoshiro. Materializing her own mecha, the girl duels with the catgirl in a fierce mecha battle. The fight causes the floor to crumble below Kuu, but to her surprise Kyoshiro suddenly appears in a white horse and rescues her. Comments: this is a strange, strange anime mixing a lot of popular anime themes into one confusing package. Although if you have a secret desire to see maids and catgirls doing mecha battles, then this might be your show. On a side note, the opening an ending songs are decent.
