Juusoukikou Dancouga Nova anime synopsis / summary:

  It is the year 2104 and wars proliferate across the world.  But from the battlefields, rumors tell of a super-powered mecha called Dancouga which mysteriously shows up in the middle of a battle to help the weaker side achieve absolute victory over its enemies.  Dancouga has no allegiance to any side and its origins are a mystery. However, for four very diffeent people: Aoi Hidak, Kurara Tachibana, Sakuya Kamon and Johnny Burnette, the truth is revealed when they are brought against their will to a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. The commander, Tanaka, tells them that after careful selection, he has picked them to be the next four pilots of Dancouga.
