Anime Summary / Synopsis:

Henrietta was an innocent little girl when her entire family was massacred and she was left for dead. She was rescued by a privately-owned social welfare organization and given cybernetic components over her battered body. Brainwashed by the organization, she and four other girls now work as cold-blooded assassins, doing the dirty work for the Italian government.

'Il Teatrino' is the second installment of the Gunslinger Girl anime. However, this version is no where near as good as the original. Most noticeable is the reduction in animation quality, but the atmosphere and character personalities have also been altered for the worst. At best, Gunslinger Girls 2nd season can only be categorized as cute lolis with guns.
