no Olynsis anime synopsis / summary Gin-iro no Olynsis is a budget title that tries to be more than it can be. Not only are the script and art bad, the show even forsakes originality by emulating anime series which have done well in Japan. If you've watched any of the Gundam Seed series, you'll know where Gin-ito no Olynsis is ripping off from. The story involves Tokito Aizawa, a young mechanic who is part of a group of hunters making a living by fighting Gardeners, bug-like robots who harass the human settlements of the planets. On an excursion, Tokito is saved from some ruffians by a girl named Tia. She insists on calling him Koichi and that they have met before. Tokito comes to the conclusion that she must be suffering from the Olynsis phenomenon, where people are unexplainably pulled into the past or future. Tokito's words frighten Tia, who was cheerful just a minute ago. Their conversation is interrupted when a ginat army of Gardeners launch an assault on the settlement. Tia murmers she must protect Koichi and suddenly goes into a trance state. A column of water erupts from a lake, out of which a large mecha appears. |
