Getsumen To Heiki Mina anime synopsis / summary:

In the future, mankind has made contact with alien civilizations. It is discovered that earth is the only planet to have developed sports. A surge of interest by alien races lead to many incidents where fanatic alien fans interfere in major sports events in order to make them more "interesting." Eventually a team called Rabbit Force is formed to deal with such aliens. Rabbit Force is comprised of girls in various rabbit themed costumes, each with their own weapons, gadgets and powers.

Mina Tsukuda is a high school girl who happened to be selected for a popular news program as one of the news anchors. Her clumsiness sometimes gets her into trouble with the directors, but Mina also brings a fresh feeling to the show. One day while preparing to interview a baseball player, she witnesses an alien who knocks out the player in order to impersonate him in the game. The alien attacks Mina, but one the Rabbit Force girls, Mina Otsuki, appears to save fight off the alien. While Mina Tsukuda is still trying to figure out what's going on, a strange being appears in front of her and makes her a new member of the Rabbit Force named Mina Tsukishiro. Equipped with her special weapon, the Carrot Hammer, Tsukishiro and Otsuki defeat the alien in front of the entire stadium.
