Genshiken OAV anime synopsis / summary:

  The Genshiken OVA is composed of three episodes and introduces new member Chika Ogiue, as well as the return of the most annoying member, Manabu “Kucchi” Kuchiki.

  In episode one, Ogiue is brought to the Genshiken because of a ruckus she caused at the Manga Club.  However, when Oguie speaks for the first time, her first words are “I hate otaku.”

  In episode two, Madarame is coerced by Kasukabe to get a new outfit – one that’s not so otaku.  The subtle relationship between Madarame and Kasukabe is also explored when the two meet by coincidence later on.

  In episode three, Saki and Ohno attempt the impossible by getting Oguie to do cosplay.
