Emma - Second Act anime synopsis / summary: At the end of the first series, rumors of William's relationship with Emma have spread. Not wanting to hurt William, Emma leaves London to return to her home town. On the train ride back, she becomes friends with a maid serving in a mansion owned by a German couple. Fortunately, they are very generous and offer Emma a place to work. Emma absorbs herself in her work, but her thoughts still linger on William. Meanwhile William is at a loss beacuse he has no clues to Emma's whereabouts. Eleanor is aware of the rumors surrounding William but her feelings for him have not changed. She decides not to just stand idly by and let William slip away. |
