		Nyu Nyu is Lucy's childlike persona which appeared after she took a glancing blow from a bullet to her head. Nyu is innocent and cute, but is naive of the rest of the world. Nyu has very infantile behavour, when she first arrived at Kouta and Yuka's home she didn't even know how to go to the bathroom. She cannot communicate with words and can say only one word, "nyuu" - from which she was named by Kouta and Yuka. Nyu reverts back to Lucy whenever she is attacked or suffers trauma to her head.
		Lucy Lucy is the other persona of Nyu. She was imprisoned in a secret laboratory, until she escaped. As Lucy, she has full memory of her past life as well as the full ability to use her 'vectors'. Lucy is a psycopath and even a sadist. She hates all of mankind because of the treatment she received as a child. The only exception is Kouta, whom she befriended in her childhood. But something tragic happened between them that has forced both of the to repress the memory.
		Kouta Kouta is a young adult attending university. He resides at a closed down inn with his cousin, Yuka. He lost his sister and father at a young age. The event was so traumatic that he has barely any memory of what happened. Kouta is kind and very generous with the people around him. And would go out of his way to help or protect others.
		Yuka Yuka is Kouta's cousin. Even so, she is in love with him. When Kouta started attending university, her family offered theri abandoned inn to Kouta and herself to live in. Yuka and Kouta were good childhood friends, she remembers how Kouta lost his family but does not discuss it with Kouta fearing it might bring back harmful memories. Yuka becomes very jealous when other girls get close with Kouta.
