| Story: The main character is a pink haired girl named Lucy. Lucy is a Diclonius, mutant homo sapiens who are easily identified by the two protruding horns on their heads. The Diclonius possess a supernatural power that is best described as a type of telekinesis where invisible or translucent 'vectors' reach out from the Diclonius to attack their targets or defend itself. It is said that the Diclonius are the next evolution of man, and their purpose is to replace mankind by destroying it. Lucy and her brethren were much feared by the government. Because of the dangerous power they possess, captured Diclonius are usually killed immediately. But a secret agency has been keeping live Diclonius in an isolated laboratory in order to further their own agendas.
