Devil May Cry anime synopsis / summary:

Devil May Cry is the story of Dante, a demon hunter who himself has demons’ blood coursing through his veins. He and his partner, Morisson, run the “Devil May Cry” business where customers can hire Dante for his services. In the world of Devil May Cry, demons remain hidden by disguising themselves as humans. Dante’s blood heritage allows him to detect these demons and also grant him incredible strength, speed and toughness. But despite his exceptional skills, Dante is quite lazy and has built up a substantial amount of debt. Just when Dante thought his job was becoming boring, he encounters a mysterious woman named Trish who introduces him to a whole new set of dangers and challenges.
