Denno Coil anime synopsis / summary:

  Denno Coil takes place in the near future where VR technology has been integrated into every day life through the use of Denno glasses.  This technology is constantly connected to the internet and allows users to interact with virtual tools integrated with reality.  Yoko Okonogi was given her first augmented glasses by her grandfather, and with it also received her virtual pet dog Densuke.  When Yoko and her family move to Daikoku City, the technological center for the thriving Denno world, she encounters a strange black virtual creature that cannot be identified.  When Densuke disappears while chasing the virtual creature, Yoko asks the help of a group of children from the Denno Coil Investigation Agency.   Her path quickly crosses with that of a girl named Yoko Amasawa, a skilled hacker who seeks to unlock the secrets of the virtual world of Denno Coil.
