Dai Mahou Touge anime synopsis / summary:

Tanaka Punie is a royal princess from the Magical Kingdom. To prepare to become the next queen, she must spend a year on Earth to learn from humans. She transfers into a high school in Japan and immediately becomes super popular because of her sweet and cute appearance. Her “good girl” act displeases a female gang in her homeroom class, and they decide to teach her a lesson. But when they began to threaten Punie, she suddenly becomes their worst nightmare. With her magic, she gives life to common vegetables and then orders them to beat the crap out of the gang girls. But even without her magical wand, Punie is a fearsome foe to behold. Punie has a repertoire of deadly “Princess” wrestling moves that are a lot more painful than the name implies.

A peek into Punie’s past reveals that Punie’s family ascended to the throne of the Magical Kingdom by a violent military coup. Even now, they rule over the entire nation through an iron fist. Punie has been taught that power must be obtained through force and she has come to Earth to become stronger. She is joined by Paya-tan, a cute dog-like mascot whom Punie defeated in a bloody brawl years ago. Even on Earth, Punie must always remain vigilant because enemies are everywhere. Punie’s younger sisters, Pyun and Potaro are constantly scheming to kill Punie and secure the thrown for themselves; Elise von Barbaroque, the daughter of the previous rulers of the Magical Kingdom, came to Earth seeking revenge on Punie; even Paya-tan still holds a grudge against Punie and is bidding his time for the right moment to strike. Being a magic princess has never been this dangerous, or violent, before.
