Crescent Love anime synopsis / summary

In the near future the moon has been terraformed and colonized. But the new colonists soon break off from Earth and form their own nation called the Sphere Kingdom. Disputes break out between the Earth and the moon, and worsen until it escalates into war. In the final battle called the Battle of Oedipus, both sides release their arsenal with collateral damage on the Earth and the moon.

It has been several years after the conflict ended, yet there is still tension between the two sides. Feena Fam Earthlight, Princess of the Sphere Kingdom travels to Earth to improve diplomatic relationships and to learn first hand about the people of Earth. She has been to Earth in her childhood, but this is the first visit since her mother, the former queen had passed away. During her stay, she will reside in the home of Sayaka Hozumi, first secretary to the president. Feena's only helper is her personal maid, Mia Clementis.

Tatsuya Asagiri lives with her aunt Sayaka, he is as shocked as his sister, Mai, when he finds out the princess of the moon is coming to their home. Tatsuya has a habit of pinching a person's nose to show his affection, but he unconscously does this to Feena. Fortunately, Feena is a genuinely kind person and wishes to be treated like a family member rather than royalty. She smiles and makes a comment that Tatsuya hasn't changed a bit, suggesting they had met in the past.

Tatsuya is spellbound by Feena's beauty and charm. He feels a natural familiarity to her, but can't remember why. He is glad Feena will also attend his high school during her stay, but fears what may happen if the other classmates find out he is living under the same roof with a princess.
