AIKa R-16: Virgin Mission anime synopsis / summary:

This anime series stars a young sixteen year old Aika Sumeragi who is just entering the salvaging business. While still in high school, Aika earns her C-class Salvager license. Proud of her accomplishment, Aika puts up posters for her salvaging services, but only gains the attention of her classmate and rival, Eri Shingai. Eri is the president of the school Treasure Hunting Club and takes up Aika on her services. She believes that the mysterious tattoo on her friend, Karen Minamino’s, body contains the secret to finding an undersea treasure. Even though she has to work with Eri, Aika takes up the offer because it will be her first job as a Salvager. However, the secret behind Karen and the lost treasure is bigger than they could have ever imagined.
